Dubai Stopover Packages

Full marketing campaign: Emails, social graphics, social banners, web banners, and eBrochure.

B2B, B2C

This was a multi-year ad campaign targeting both travel agents (B2B), and the traveling public (B2C). The goal: passengers or travel agents would add a one-night or four-night vacation package to their journey. Sky Bird’s tours division, Sky Vacations, partnered with the city of Dubai’s Board of Tourism to create an advertising campaign around these “Stopover” packages. Dubai is a major hub for international travel, and often travelers have 24-hour layovers. These stopover packages could easily be added to an existing trip.

Dubai has so much to offer for every kind of traveler. With that in mind, I created sub-categories within the campaign to focus on different types of travel: luxury, culinary, outdoor enthusiasts, special events, shopping, and family friendly activities. I not only wrote copy based on these categories, I was also in charge of the creation and implementation of an editorial calendar for all assets relating to social media.

Initially, this campaign was meant to run for one year, but the Dubai Board of Tourism loved our work and chose to run the campaign for an additional two years.
